Let's play The Sims 4 - Introduction

Hello everybody! It's finally time for me to start my first Let's play on this blog.
Before we get started and you guys get to know these sims I just have to tell you 2 things. First of all, I'm a beginner with this whole thing, I've never done anything like this before and I'm very nervous and exited of how this will go and the other thing I wanted to tell you guys is that my story won't really be a let's play, this will more be like a story! Well, let's just get started then, shall we? 

This story is about a married couple, Lisa and Damien Sundin. This couple might not have that much in common except that they love each other, or at least they just to love each other, but things has happen that has made them question their love for each other.

This is the one and only, Lisa Sundin. She's a friendly person who doesn't wish anyone anything bad. She works as a doctor, she takes her job very seriously and always try the best she can to help other people, even though she loves her job, working as a doctor isn't what she wanna do for the rest of her life.

 

Lisa loves baking, her biggest dream is to have her own little bakery and she's doing everything in her power to make that happen, she has bought a lot that she barely has had the money to build walls on, and since all the money the family makes goes to Lisa's bakery they can't even afford a TV. 

Since Lisa's takes her job very seriously and spends a lot of time at the hospital, when she gets home, her husband has already left for work. She almost never gets to spend with Damien which makes her very sad. At the hospital Lisa works at, there's another doctor named Emil . Since they work together, Lisa and Emil spends much time together, they are very good friends. And since Emil knows that Lisa always comes home to an empty, small house, Lisa and Emil often goes to bars after work.

Lisa and Emil really enjoys each other company and that's why Lisa started a love affair with Emil. They hadn't been together for such a long time when, one night when Damien got home from work and caught his wife cheating on him. Damien was furious and yelled at Lisa like never before. Damien went outside to breathe some fresh air and clear his mind when something happened. He saw this light coming from the sky and that's all he can remember from that night. Lisa, who only thought Damien was out on a walk, sat down with Emil who had been so in love with Lisa since the first day she started working at the hospital. Emil was already aware of that Lisa was married to Damien but still, it broke his heart when she told him that she couldn't continue seeing him. Even though Lisa has been aware of Damien and her were drifting apart it was first by now that she realized that Damien is her husband and even though she has strong feelings for Emil she can't stop trying to make her marriage work. She loves Damien and she wants to spend the rest of her life with him, just like she said at their wedding a couple of years earlier.

A couple of hours after Emil left, Lisa finally fell asleep, she was so scared that Damien would leave her that she couldn't sleep. Damien came back, he didn't remember what had just happen, he was just extremely tired and had this horrible stomach pain. All he knew right now was that he needed to sleep RIGHT NOW.

Damien woke up the following morning, still with this horrible belly-ache but he was just thinking that he probably was sick so he still went up to have a talk with Lisa before she would go to work.

Damien and Lisa had a long talk about what would happen next and they both decided that they would continue to try to get over this, neither one of them wanted to live their lives without each other, they both wanted to be together. But Damien wanted to make sure that even if he was trying to forget this whole thing, he wasn't okay with it and that he haven't totally calmed down so he needed some space. Lisa understood that but she was just so happy that he still wanted to be with her. 

When Lisa went to work, Damien decided to stay home from work today since he wasn't feeling any good at all. And after that he went back to bed and slept like a baby.

Damien is a man who loves to play the guitar and make jokes, he loves to entertain people and that's why that's his job. He mostly spends all his free time on writing jokes and learning how to play the guitar.

So yeah guys, what do you think? I'm really exited and a bit nervous of how this will work out but now that I've written the introduction I'm really liking this whole thing. I think this will be a nice and enjoyable hobby for me and for you guys to read! I just hope anyone wants to read this!! Until next time, I hope you all will have an amazing time!

WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR BUILDINGS

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog!!
To start of this post I just need to thank everyone for visiting my blog. I get shocked every time I look at my statistics, that anyone even takes their time to read what I have to say. I mean I'm not famous or have that many readers at all but it just makes me so happy to see that even ANYONE reads my writings. Because this is just for me something I do for entertainment. I really love The Sims and I want to share what I've learned thought out the years, so here you have some ways for you to improve your builds and develop as a builder!

TBH I've never really been that much into building on The Sims, I've mostly just been building what I thought was the most necessary, I've never spent that much time on building because I guess I've never had like enough patience..
But ever since The Sims 4 came out I felt like TS4 just gave me so much more opportunities with all the new building tools. So with time I've actually started to enjoy building, I build some houses every week actually but I wouldn't want to say I'm that good at building. But hey, at least I'm trying! I can actually see some improvements looking back at old houses. So this is just a few tips and tricks that has helped me to improve my building skills!

Something important that you should try out if you are looking to get better at building is definitely TO CHALLENGE YOURSELF!! And some examples of that is that you can try to:

- Build with a budget 
Try to build with a limited amount of simoleons, this is something that I really need to work on. 

- Build/furnish with a certain colour-theme 
Try to stick with a certain colour for the whole house or maybe just a room.

-  Try to build a house/room in a different shape

- Try to not fall into a habit
This tip could be very hard for some of you out there but it's really important if you want to develop as a builder, so if you really want to challenge yourself try to never let yourself to fall into habit and what I mean with that is that whenever you're building, try something new, don't let the way you build to become a habit, try new things and try to never build a room the same way you've done it before!! Try a new shape of your bathroom. Don't place your staircase where you usually put it, place it on the other side of the house to challenge yourself.

MY TOP 5 FAVORITE ITEMS FROM THE SIMS 3 STORE

Hello everybody!
Today I'm here with my top 5 favorite items from The Sims 3 Store!
As you might know, I've played The Sims 3 ever since it was released but I've actually never bought anything from the store until very recently. I've never really looked what TS3 store has to offer because I just thought that you could only buy like clothes any I thought that would just be a waste of money.. But boy if I was wrong.. 
The Sims 3 store has a lot of things to offer, I've mostly just bought premium content because the nerd inside of me gets a little bit to exited seeing her sims do new actions! But I'm gonna stop the storytime right now and show you My Top 5 Favorite Items From The Sims 3 Store!!


(I don't know if it's the right thing to call it "my top 5 favorite items" it's more like, 5 of my favorite items..)

1.

Local Motion Toddler Walker

This little walker has made my life so much easier, I'm one of those Simmers who thinks it takes to much time to learn your little toddlers how to walk so if your like me, you're gonna love the walker just as much as I do! You just simply place your child in the walker and then you have to switch over to the toddler and make him or her choose to "learn how to walk" or if your toddler has already learned how to walk, then they can just play with the little buttons on the walker!! :)

2. High Ponytail

So the second item that I picked out is, if you couldn't tell it's a hairstyle. I'm so obsessed with this gorgeous hairstyle (for women, young adults, adults and possible teenagers, I'm not sure if it's possible for teenagers to wear this but I think so). It's a high ponytail and some parts of the hair in the ponytail actually covers her ears (I'm sorry but I totally suck at describing) and if you're like me and you are a big fan of Ariana Grande, you'll probably love it as much as I do since it looks very much like Ari's signature hairstyle "half up, half down". The only thing that I don't like about this hairstyle is that the hair isn't very long but I still think it's super cute.

Next we have an outfit that I adoreeeee! *I know I said earlier that I thought it was a big waste of money buying clothes for your sims but that was before I saw this beauty! And also, I already had simpoints on my account so it wasn't like I bought SimPoints only for this outfit.*

But anyway, this outfit really stole my heart, I love when full-body outfits not only have you know, clothes but also like (I've totally lost the word for it right now) a scarf and legwarmers. I really love this outfit I would wear it in real life.

4. 

Dirty No More Changing And Bathing Station

 

Here have another item made for toddler, it's basically a nursery-table, I've always thought that TS didn't made enough content for our little toddlers. Throughout the expansion packs not much was for toddlers which I've never been too happy about and I was so pleased when I saw that you download this and it also made me really happy since I've missed this table in TS3, we had it in The Sims 2 though. Oh well, I don't wanna be complaining !! I love The Sims and I always even if they won't add more toddler stuff in The Sims 3 ;)) 

Well again, with this table you can switch your toddlers diapers and give them baths!

5. The Baby Swing

  

Yep, another item made for toddlers (and babies) but I just LOVE this baby swing! The reason I love this is because when you put your baby in there you can either put on the "slow mode" which makes them fall asleep or you can put on the "fast mode" which makes them have a lot of fun! I just love this because your babies and toddlers just look sooo happy and cuuuteeee! :)

WHEN SOMEBODY TELLS YOU THEY DON'T LIKE THE SIMS

Hiiiiii!!!
So today it's sunday which means school starts tomorrow. I'm really not exited for that, this week we had the week off and I was actually sick the week before so I haven't been in school for a while which is always nice because I hate school. I have a presentation in english that I am very nervous over since I'm swedish, I don't talk english very often execpt with my friends sometimes, I do write very much in english with my friends and here on this blog but that is very different from talking in real life. Beacause when you're writing you have the time to edit what you're saying and make everything as good as you can.
And we're also going swimming and ice-skating in school on tuesday and that's always horrible. I can't wait to get out of school..
I'm really trying to procrastinate studiying and thinking about school by playing The Sims, you can execpt some blog post coming your way this week because now I'm gonna try to get my shit together and make some content for you guys by scheduleing some things here on this blog.

THE SIMS 3 TAG

Hey!! So since this is my first real post on this blog I did'nt want to kick it off with an let's play already, I've been thinking that I will start an let's play when I've finished playing the household I'm currently obsessed with, but I will still be writing here.
But anyway, I found this tag on youtube about The Sims 3, I think this tag was made beacause of the release of The Sims 4, but I'll do it anyways.

1. How long have you been playing The Sims 3? Since the day it was released.
2. Who/What got you into The Sims 3? What got me most exited about The Sims 3 was definetaly that you could visit other sims in the town and you could explore the town without loading screens! 
3. What do you love the most about all The Sims 3 Expansion Packs? Hmm.. I really do love that you can explore the town so much more in TS3 but also I've always loved the option "create a style" but it wasn't until I played TS4 that i realized how much I actually love it and miss it haha!
4. What do you hate the most about all The Sims 3 Expansion Packs? That's a tough question but I think I have to say, when my sims glitch out and get stuck or just stop listen to me.
5. Which Sims 3 games do you own? I own all the expansion packs execpt Into The future and I only own two stuff packs, The Katy Perry one and high-end loft stuff.
6. If you can add one new feature to The Sims 3 what would it be? Probably that the other sims in the town (the ones I'm not playing with) can live there one lives and start a family or get promoted, I know that since I have  that option on on in my game, they are supposed to be doing that but they aren't, the sims in my town only walk around without any changes in there lives until they die (wow that sounds so tragic) and then other randomized family moves to the city so I don't know if there's something wrong with my game.
7. How long do you hope to keep playing The Sims 3 for? I really don't know, I mean I love The Sims 4 and I play it very often but I won't stop playing TS3 until I feel like The Sims 4 have totally replaced TS3. Because I feel like The Sims 4 have not enough content out for me to stop playing TS3 totally. 
8. Would you ever sell your whole Sims 3 collection? Both yes and no, I was actually about to do that when TS4 was released but I'm glad I didn't because I'm playing it right now actually haha! But I don't think I'll ever let go of The Sims 3, It's my whole childhood in a game (same with TS2 that's why I started playing that again) I don't know if I'll play The Sims for the rest of my life (to be honest I probably will) but if I'll sell I will probably come crawling back to TS3.
9. Approximately how much money have you spent on The Sims 3? Gosh, I don't even wanna think about that, TOOOOO MUCH for sure but on the other hand, I've never ever really regretted it and it have brought so much happiness and wonderful moments in my life so it's all been worth it.
10. Have you ever said "Happy Simming" to someone? No I don't think so haha! But maybe I will ;))

Who am I and where are you?

Hi everybody!
My name is Mathilda and I've always loved gaming, I play many different games like Grand Theft Auto, Mafia, but most of all The Sims. I've been a simmer since I was little, I think I found my love for The Sims around the years of 05/06. I'm not very old, I was born 2001, but I've always played The Sims with my sister. I remember sitting next to her and watch her play The Sims 2. But since I wasn't very old my sims that I played with did not live very good lives haha! But since then, I was hooked. I either play The Sims 2, 3 or 4, on a daily basis.

Btw, I'm sorry for my bad english but I´m from Sweden, but I'm trying my best!
But enough about me!! This blog that I've just created is about The Sims, I'll post news about The Sims, show you the latest content and my opinion and do some let's plays!

I really hope that you guys want to follow my journey and I would want to create a little space of just Simmers, you guys can ask me questions or problems you are having with TS and we could all help each other out and fix them together. And I am probably not the only one with friends that don't like The Sims or other games so I would love if this blog could just be a place for Simmers!
